Suspension & Wheel-Bearing Repair

Suspension and wheel-bearing repairs are supported, but they are more dependent on the vehicle, the equipment required, and the location than most of our work. Some can be done at your location. Others need a lift, a press, or a stable work surface and are better done at the appointment-only facility.

Overview

Suspension and wheel-bearing repairs are supported, but they are more dependent on the vehicle, the equipment required, and the location than most of our work. Some can be done at your location. Others need a lift, a press, or a stable work surface and are better done at the appointment-only facility.

We assess the vehicle and the job first, then tell you honestly which setting fits.

Common symptoms

These are signs worth getting checked. They are not a diagnosis, and the same symptom can have different causes.

  • A clunk or knock over bumps
  • A humming or growling noise that changes with speed or while turning
  • The vehicle drifts, pulls, or feels loose in the steering
  • Uneven or fast tire wear
  • A bouncy or harsh ride
  • Play or wobble in a wheel

What assessment and repair may involve

  • Inspection of shocks, struts, control arms, bushings, joints, and bearings
  • Confirming which component is actually worn
  • Replacement of components after assessment
  • Advising when an alignment or tire check should follow

Mobile visit or private facility?

Whether the work can be done at your location depends on the vehicle, the parts involved, the equipment needed, and whether the spot is level, safe, and permitted. Some work needs our private service facility, which is available by appointment only.

Often suited to mobile service

  • Inspection and noise diagnosis
  • Some component replacements, depending on vehicle and access

May need the facility

  • Wheel bearings and hubs that need pressing or heavy equipment
  • Jobs that need the vehicle on a lift or held for a longer time
  • Any job where the location is not level, stable, or safe

About the private service facility

What to have ready

  • Year, make, model, and drivetrain
  • When you hear or feel the problem: speed, turning, bumps
  • Which corner of the vehicle it seems to come from
  • Any recent tire, alignment, or suspension work

How requesting service works

  1. Call us or send a request. Share the vehicle, the symptoms, and where it is.
  2. We follow up. We confirm coverage, ask follow-up questions, and discuss whether a mobile visit or the facility fits.
  3. You decide. Service is scheduled only after we agree on a plan with you.

Submitting a request asks us to contact you about service. It does not confirm an appointment or dispatch. Contact us to confirm service coverage and availability.

Frequently asked questions

Can a wheel bearing be replaced at my location?

Sometimes, depending on the vehicle. Many wheel-bearing jobs need equipment best suited to the facility. We will tell you after assessing the vehicle.

Do you do alignments?

Alignment is not part of our listed services. We can recommend when one should follow suspension work.

Vehicle trouble? Call first.

Tell us what is happening and where the vehicle is. We will talk through whether a mobile visit or the appointment-only facility makes sense.

Calls accepted 8 a.m.–7 p.m. daily (Eastern time). English & Spanish assistance available.
